History of UAAO
Since long, Urbana Apartment Owners had been raising the demand for formation of Apartment Owners Association, especially in the meeting of the ‘Urbana Welfare Association’ (UWA) as it was an important agenda but unfortunately till July’22, there was no concrete progress.
Immediately after assuming charge, the UWA committee for 2022-23 took it up seriously and attached top most priority, had discussions with multiple lawyers/consultants to understand the process and precise roadmap.
Thereafter met the Competent Authority (CA) on several occasions to get complete clarity, had multiple meetings with BNRI Directors and top officials and secured their full support in submission of application in Form A on 28 April' 23 which was accepted by the CA on 10 May’23. The Competent Authority was pleased to grant Certificate of Registration in favour of Urbana Association of Apartment Owners on 28 Nov'23

28.04.2023: Application in Form A submitted before Competent Authority
10.5.2023: Hearing & Approval of Form A by Competent Authority
10.9.2023: Apartment Owners Meeting held for finalisation of Name of
Association and submission of Form 1 with Competent Authority
28.11.2023: Hearing by Competent Authority and granted Certificate of
Registration in Form 2
17.3.2024: Form 3 with list of elected Office Bearers submitted with
Competent Authority
